Taccia Ukiyo-e Kuniyoshi-Budounezu is a grape grey: dusky violet softened with charcoal. It is moody without being loud, a versatile color for journaling, correspondence, and shadowed sketch work.
About the Taccia Ukiyo-e Kuniyoshi Collection
Taccia’s Ukiyo-e inks translate colors drawn from Japanese woodblock prints into fountain pen inks. This new group centers on Utagawa Kuniyoshi, bringing together eight colors that range from blackened purple and green to crimson, olive, blue, charcoal, and red-brown.
These water-based dye inks are developed and manufactured in Japan. Taccia produced the collection with Stationery Sommelier Dai Ishizu, with colors supervised by Color Consultant Hanae Matsumoto.
