What does "permanent" mean?

There are a few main threats to the permanence of fountain pen ink:

• Water or other liquids/chemicals
• Sunlight
• Time
• Paper quality/acidity

I try to include a mix of fountain pen inks that give you resistance to some or all of these. That means you may see ISO-certified document inks that are resistant to even the most aggressive chemicals, regular pigment inks with great water resistance, traditional iron galls, archival inks that don't fade much even with tremendous UV exposure, and modern cellulose-bonding dye inks.
