About the Taccia Ukiyo-e Ink Collection

Taccia is proud to introduce the Ukiyo-e Ink Series, inspired by the rich color palettes of Edo-period (17th century) Japanese woodblock prints. Ukiyo-e captured the everyday life, tastes, and amusements of its time, using nuanced hues that are difficult to describe with a single word. The collection is released in four artist-themed sets—Hokusai, Sharaku, Hiroshige, and Utamaro—each reflecting the distinctive aesthetics of its namesake.
