Taccia's Ukiyo-e Hokusai Sabimidori (Rust Green) fountain pen ink is the first Taccia ink I used, and the one I am still in love with. It's a beautiful jade green with a tiny bit of red shading, and it's appropriate everywhere. Beautify your notes or your business correspondence; Sabimidori looks amazing no matter what you're using it for.
About the Taccia Ukiyo-e Ink Collection
Taccia is proud to introduce the Ukiyo-e Ink Series, inspired by the rich color palettes of Edo-period (17th century) Japanese woodblock prints. Ukiyo-e captured the everyday life, tastes, and amusements of its time, using nuanced hues that are difficult to describe with a single word. Our Ukiyo-e inks faithfully reinterpret these delicate tones to elevate your writing and drawing experience with fountain pens.
The collection is released in four artist-themed sets—Hokusai, Sharaku, Hiroshige, and Utamaro—each reflecting the distinctive aesthetics of its namesake. Every ink is formulated with safe, high-quality raw materials, with colors developed under the guidance of a Japanese color consultant. The series was created by stationery experts and is manufactured in our own facilities to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
