Exact inks may change as inventory changes, but every selection will be chosen for visible sheen in ordinary writing. These are sheening inks rather than shimmer inks, so there are no glitter particles in the samples.

Sheen depends heavily on the pen and paper. Smooth, fountain-pen-friendly paper and a wet medium, broad, or stub nib will reveal the strongest effect. With an extra-fine nib or absorbent copy paper, expect to see more of the base color and less of the second-color sheen.

Highly saturated sheening inks can take longer to dry, may smear even after they appear dry, and sometimes require a little extra rinsing when you clean your pen. That fussiness is part of the bargain—but so is watching an ordinary line of writing change color when you tilt the page.
