If you’re going to be spending a lot of time writing on cheap paper (college notebooks, copy paper, etc.) then you’ll have a better time with a <Fine> nib on this fountain pen.
If you’re largely in control of the paper you write on, and can afford good fountain-pen friendly paper, which happens to be the only kind we sell at Bottle & Plume, then a <Medium> nib will glide across the paper a bit more smoothly, and display the properties of your fountain pen ink (sheen, shade, shimmer) better.
