The Pilot Iro-Utsushi pairs the easy color-changing ritual of a dip pen with a tipped nib that feels familiar to fountain pen users. This black wooden body has a quiet, understated finish and a long taper that settles naturally into the hand.

Dip the nib only to its engraved guide line, write, then rinse with water and wipe dry before moving to the next ink. Choose Fine for small handwriting and detail work or Medium for a fuller everyday line. The fixed stainless-steel nib is made for bottled fountain pen ink; cartridges and converters are not used.
