Blue and golden yellow run through the Pelikan M800 Indian Ocean in flowing ribbons. This is the first edition in Pelikan’s World of Oceans series, and the acrylic is the attraction: its colour and pattern vary from pen to pen, giving each one its own arrangement of light and dark.
There are some lovely quieter details alongside that lively barrel. The cap and filling knob each have a single satin-finished ring, with 24k gold plating over brass. They bring a different texture to the familiar M800 shape without competing with the colour.
