We’ll dip-test your pen, ensuring that it writes, checking for nib alignment issues, and finally flushing the pen with water to remove ink along with any leftover residue from manufacturing.

The Kaweco Lunar Sport in Shadow Blue starts with a deep, saturated blue and catches vivid blue-and-purple flashes as it turns. The darker base gives the iridescent finish plenty of contrast, so the pen can look quietly inky at one moment and brightly iridescent when light runs across its facets.

It is still the familiar pocket-size Sport underneath: a lightweight ABS body with a screw cap, measuring 10.7 cm closed and 12.7 cm with the cap posted. Small enough to carry without ceremony, it opens into a practical full-length writer for journal pages, quick notes, and the ideas worth catching before they wander off.

Choose an interchangeable Kaweco 060 stainless-steel nib from Extra Fine through Double Broad. The pen fills from short standard international cartridges and also accepts the Kaweco Mini Converter (sold separately) for bottled ink. A removable Sport clip can be added separately.
