Diamine Ink - Stargazer Blue (Shimmer - 50mL Bottle)

Stargazer is a fountain pen ink from the 2021 Diamine Inkvent Calendar, the Red Edition. It's a blue ink that has both shimmer and sheen.

Water-based, non-toxic, acid-free and vegan-friendly.

On good, fountain-pen-friendly paper, Stargazer's shimmer adds a frosted sparkle that’s perfect for cards, headings, and creative journaling—yet it’s still readable for everyday notes if you like your pages with a bit of personality.

Friendly tips for using shimmer fountain pen inks

• Gently shake or roll the bottle (and your pen/converter) before filling/using to disperse the shimmer evenly. After a few minutes it will sink to the bottom.
• Broader/wetter nibs show more sparkle; extra-fine or very dry nibs may mute the effect.
• Use coated papers (Clairefontaine, Rhodia, Tomoe River, etc.) to maximize shimmer and keep lines crisp.
• As with all shimmer inks, clean your pen regularly and avoid letting ink dry out inside the feed. We don’t recommend shimmer inks in vintage pens or those that are hard to disassemble.
