Collection: Sheening Fountain Pen Ink

These are sheening fountain pen inks - inks which have a base color and then, on the right paper, a secondary color that you can see as a metallic sheen against the light. It's a really spectacular effect, and great for adding extra pizzazz to your fountain pen writing.

Sheening inks work best on paper with a glossy coating ("sizing"). Papers that are too absorbent will let the ink soak too deep into the paper fibers, and prevent the sheen from showing.
