BENU

BENU is a modern pen maker founded in 2016 by designers Alex Semanin and Kate Dmitrieva—now based in Yerevan, Armenia. Their calling card is eye-popping, hand-polished resin: bold colors, glitter, pearlescence, and occasional glow-in-the-dark or UV-reactive effects that turn a daily writer into a conversation piece.

Popular lines include Euphoria, Talisman, Scepter, and Briolette, with comfortable mid-large bodies, faceted barrels that resist rolling, and cartridge/converter convenience. Most models use reliable German-made Schmidt stainless-steel nibs (although their flex nibs are from Jowo), making BENU a great fit for writers who want conversation-starting looks without sacrificing everyday writing performance.
